Hello,

We are making some changes to the mailing list and need to delete all of the emails that are currently registered. Service updates were previously hosted on the same WordPress site. This resulted in 1000s of email addresses being hosted on the mailing list which has started to slow down delivery of important announcements – sometimes by several hours.

If you are using any of the following services then please re-subscribe your email address at http://status.bellonline.co.uk/mailing-list/

Web Hosting, Shoutcast, AutoDJ, Transcoding, Dedicated Servers (you can view a full list of categories on the site)

If you are using FreeStreamHosting.org then please don’t sign up for this mailing list, you will be sent another email shortly with further instructions.

As before, you will be sent a link to confirm your subscription and choose the categories you’d like to sign up to.

We recommend that you choose updates for the server(s) that you are hosted on to avoid receiving emails that don’t affect your service. If you are unsure about which server(s) you are on then please open a support ticket and we will be happy to get the information for you.

  • Premium network added to new CP

I’m pleased to announce that all premium network Shoutcast servers have been added to the new control panel at http://streampanel.mixstream.net/

If you have Shoutcast servers on the premium network, then you can log in with the same details that you use for your billing account. You will now see all of your servers under a single control panel.

The overall aim of the new control panel is to bring all streaming services ‘under one roof’ so that there are not multiple panels to log in to for customers that are hosted on different value/premium servers.

There are some limitations:

  • If your billing username(email) is different to that of your normal control panel login, then the servers won’t be displayed. If this is the case then please open a support ticket to get your account updated.
  • The new panel will not yet work for resellers and the customers of resellers. A separate panel will be made for this.

If you find any problems with the new panel then please open a support ticket.

We are making some changes to the database used for storing Shoutcast  and AutoDJ server settings in order to start the changeover to our new control panel.

Date: 04/05/2010

Time: 4PM, for approx 15 minutes

The premium network control panel will be unavailable during this time. This will not affect any streams.

If the unavailability of the control panel is causing you any problems then please open a support ticket and any changes or restarts will be made.

Not all premium servers were updated a couple of days back so the remaining ones will be done shortly. Again, no downtime expected but there is an ‘at risk’ period for the next hour or so.

Routine maintenance will be performed on all Premium network Shoutcast, AutoDJ and Transcoder servers during office hours tomorrow. No downtime is expected.
