After further investigation, it seems like the network is not responding to pings which is why our monitoring system flagged the server as being down. I would like to reiterate that there is nothing wrong with the server and it is functioning.
We have just had an outage report for uk1-vn, however the server is still online and working so it seems like the monitoring system has falsely sent out the error.
