- [update] Short period of reduced support
We have been informed that due to unforeseen circumstances, the work is not to be carried out today so there will be no power cut. Support will continue as normal.
We have been informed that due to unforeseen circumstances, the work is not to be carried out today so there will be no power cut. Support will continue as normal.
Due to some maintenance on the power lines in our area, the power supply is planned to be cut off for a short period at some point before 4pm today so support will be limited. You will still get a response but it won’t be possible for us to do any work other than to answer emails.
The stats server is now back up, but I’ve already ordered and am in the process of setting up a new server so will continue with that.
Once that’s set up, it may take some time for the DNS settings to update, but both servers will be active simultaneously.
The new server should mean that we don’t have the same problem again.
UPDATE: Unfortunately, it seems like the graphs wouldn’t transfer across to the new server for some reason, but as it has only been a few days since the last issue which resulted in the loss of graph data, not a lot has been lost this time. On the bright side, the new server should be much better as we’re using much higher quality hardware this time.
Unfortunately, the server that hosts Shoutcast statistics and the Flash players is down again. This will affect the following:
Flash players
Javascripts (listener number, online/offline etc)
Some control panel online/offline icons
Server playlists hosted by us (pls, m3u, asx files)
The problem is being worked on and the server will hopefully be back online tonight.
Thank you for your patience.
I’m just posting this so that the new categories show up on the side menu and mailing list options
A new server is scheduled to be added to the freestreamhosting network tomorrow afternoon. This will allow us to meet the current high demand while avoiding problems that we saw a couple of weeks back.
Due to high demand, I have added a new server to the free stream hosting network. This should help to resolve some of the instability experienced.
I also plan on adding 2 or so more servers over the coming weeks.
The new server is going to be rebooted to test the new automatic notifications and it will be active in about 10 minutes from now hopefully.
If you have any problems with any pages on secure.bellonline then please open a support ticket or email us. The chances are that it will be due to template changes.
